The publication acquaints the reader with the oeuvre of the Russian artist who took part in two round-the-world expeditions headed by Faddey Bellingshausen and Mikhail Lazarev (1819-1821) and Fyodor Litke and Mikhail Stanyukovich (1826-1829).
